I was excited to see that this movie got a great write-up in the New York Times! And the Village Voice! Medicine for Melancholy was written and directed by Barry Jenkins and shot in San Francisco by my high school friend James Laxton. James is possibly the nicest guy ever and a SF native, so I'm glad to see that the film is getting some attention. I got to see Medicine for Melancholy when it premiered at theSan Francisco International Film Festival, apparently it is getting a wider release. Opens today in Manhattan.
STAINLESS STEEL is a Blog and a Zine. It is a collection of found art, photos and ephemera, as well as my original artworks, photographs and writing. I am in the process of building a more in depth, detailed website to showcase my work, so this blog is kind of a tide-me-over until it is complete. I will try to update it daily, so check back for new posts and updates on the Zine and the website coming soon...
